Noble Hold'em is an exciting and innovative poker variant which adds a thrilling regal twist to the classic Texas Hold'em.
How it’s played:
- Noble Hold'em follows the familiar rules of Texas Hold’em, with players being dealt two hole cards and using community cards to make the best five-card hand.
- The community cards consist of the Flop (three cards), the Turn (one card), and the River (one card).
- Crucially, if the River card is a face card - that is a Jack, Queen, or King - an additional Noble Card is dealt. This process continues until the last Noble Card is a non-face card.
- An additional betting round follows each Noble Card.
- NOTE: In Texas Hold'em with more than two players the Small Blind always starts the betting round (pre-flop with a forced bet). Since we are playing Heads-Up Poker (1v1), the Small Blind posts first pre-flop (in the very first round of betting) but Postflop, the Big Blind acts first! You can see this in practice in the logs or the game viewer.
