Hole Cards: The private cards dealt face down to each player.
Community Cards (Board): The shared cards placed face-up in the middle of the table.
Pot: The total amount of money wagered by all players in a hand.
Pip: How much has a player contributed to the pot in this round of betting.
Chop: When two or more players split the pot equally.
Showdown: The reveal of cards at the end of a hand to determine the winner.
Bluff: Betting or raising with a weak hand to make opponents fold better hands.
Pre-flop: The first betting round before any community cards are dealt.
Flop: The first three community cards dealt face-up.
Turn: The fourth community card (also called "Fourth Street").
River: The fifth and final community card (also called "Fifth Street").
Run: Any further cards dealt after the river in Noble Hold’em.
Raise: To increase the current bet amount.<
Call: To match the current bet amount.
Check: To pass the action to the next player without betting (when no bet is facing).
Fold: To discard your hand and forfeit any chance at winning the pot.
Limping: Special kind of call where the small blind calls the big blind pre-flop as the first action (i.e. small blind increasing the forced bet from the small blind to the big blind).
